Dog Therapy

Our campus currently has three certified therapy dogs available to interact with our students!  Meet our OCA therapy dogs:

 

Name: Korra

Age: 5 years old

Favorite snack: any treat

Favorite color: Red (because she is a super fast runner)

Favorite TV show: Lassie, because she would love to run wild

Favorite things to do: walks, playing with her sister, Ellie, and smelling everything!

Favorite place to sleep: In a tight ball in one of the dog beds.

Birthday: Nov. 4^th, 2011

Breed: Shiba-Inu

Favorite part about visiting OCA: Getting pet by the staff and students and performing her army-crawl for the students.

 

 

 

 

Name: Max or "Mighty Max Moore"

Age: 2 1/2 years old

Favorite snack: Fish flavored training bits

Favorite color: The color of the meal in front of him

Favorite TV show: I can't say that he pays much attention to any particular program.

Favorite things to do: Hiking in the hills and chasing after a ball thrown late at night.

Favorite place to sleep: on whatever spot his big sister just got up from or outside his handler's door.

Breed: Box Head Golden Retriever

Favorite part about visiting OCA: endless attention and the pets and belly rubs.

 

 

 

Name: Ellie

Age: 3 ½ years old

Favorite snack: Anything, except lettuce

Favorite color:  Pink (after all, she a girl!)

Favorite TV show: Scooby-Doo – because she is very curious about everything

Favorite things to do: Long walks, playing with her sister, Korra, meeting new people and chasing squirrels!

Favorite place to sleep: In the sun on a sunny day.

Birthday:  June 15, 2013

Breed: Yorskie, half husky/half yorkie

Favorite part about visiting OCA: getting to see the students and perform tricks.
